[Unboxing/Review] American Weigh Signature Series Black Digital Pocket Scale [HD]

This is a great pocket scale that weighs up to 1000g or 1kg. It’s size makes if extremely portable. There are different models that can weight heavier items, but this is what I need to weigh small parts. This scale weighs for 0.1, there are other ones that AWS makes that weight 0.01. This scale is extreme sensitive, even moving your hand over the scale and cause it to change. Make sure when you are measuring that the scale is leveled. A quick way to tell if your scale is calibrated is by using a American 5 cent Nickel and weighing it. It should weight 5.0 g. Overall I really recommend this scale for someone who need a small compact scale for weighing things.

I just did a review on one of the best scales on the market with a 30×0.001 gram capacity, check it out it…

It does read objects that are less than 1 gram. For example, if something weighs 140mg, it would read .14g which is equivalent to 140mg. The lightest thing it will pick up is .1g which is 100mg. Anything lighter it will not pickup and it will read up to 1 significant digit after the decimal. So it can read 100mg but not 101mg. For around $10, what would you expect. if you want something that can read up to 5 digits after the decimal, it would cost a bit more.

It does not help. The scale does not measure anything less than 1g accurately… In example, it doesn't read something as light as 140mg. Hope this helps.

This is a metric scale so it measures in the standard measurement of grams. to convert grams to milligrams, just multiply by 1000. Ex. 1 g = 1000 mgs : 1mg = 1×10^-3 g. Hope this helps.

doesn't measure in mgs, just gs, psh.

hey what are dimensions of the actual scaling field?
I read that the scale needs to be calibrated with a 500g weigh, but looks like yours was accurate right out of the box, that's neat.
    thanks for the video

It depends, you have to have prime to have this feature. Also the product has to be prime, and you have to order by the by to have it delivered on the estimated date. Hope this helps.
