Why is nobody noticing how bad these ppl are at the actual game, even after two+ years? I mean, they're all kinda cool and charismatic but cmon – they struggle with the most basic things when they should be doing some advanced tactics and moves, it's a real torture to watch them from an experienced player point of view. Their cleric is the worst support I have ever seen, to the point that even a rogue has more sense to cast the bless while she sits there like a cow thinking of how she gonna cast a darn spiritual weapon or other damage dealing nonsense spell IN THE FIRST ROUNDS. I have no words for this. Please teach her a little about the class she plays, jeez! Ashley's dragged her inability to fathom her role to the point where everyone thinks she's made of glass – yet she has the most AC and a load of hitpoints?! Not mentioning the plethora of PROTECTIVE SPELLS because that's what her class is made to do! That should be clear from the first glance on the class spellbook and general description, is she dumb or what the hell is going on in her head?
Others are not shining either – the hunter's mark fail compilation, general lack of reason behind their moves: enemy has high AC = they try and hit it with average chance, no buffs on them; or enemy has low INT and WIS, clearly a brute, and noone takes advantage, but they sure attempt to mindwrestle the wizards and casters, etc. Sam, Liam and Travis are the only ones that show some effort behind their actions. Anyone who knows, really knows how to play this game can see the ridiculous fails happening over and over, wtf people they suck and noone's teaching them properly. It's even the watered down 5th edition! If it was 3,5 their brains would melt..
I'm saddened the most by the total disrespect and misuse of Mercer's skill and talent. Too hard, not fair to judge and compare? NO. Think about it: what have they done to improve themselves gamewise? What are they doing to add to the game? I cant even watch for long anymore, it's insulting to my knowledge of D&D. So much time has passed that when they start crying theatrically for the n-th time now when they die due to their own fails all I wish is for the TPK already, they need to start from scratch and LEARN.
It's becoming counterproductive to watch them even with all their looks and charm, that alone can't carry this show forever..

Pike shouldn't have lost beacon of hope, she has War Caster so she should have had advantage in that roll </3

"Well, it has a bottom. The bottom of a topless pit." is so clever it makes up for life needing things to live.

Anyone else think Geek & Sundry should do a weekly contest for those of us who can't watch Thrusday nights?

  • Thomas - January 14, 2018 reply

I'm late to the party, but I kinda feel like this episode should have been called Dungeons and Darringtons.

  • Tyler Denison - January 14, 2018 reply

Perhaps they do later in the episode (not finished yet), but how the hell did the Daringtons not rip Taryon a new one for stealing all that money?

It's so funny how Sam and Travis play. Asking for permission for everything, being up front and honest with the DM… its so cool

  • RecordingOfMind - January 14, 2018 reply

Lol Ashley.. <3 Pike falls off the wall. Then her real life boots get stuck together.
Ashley : "Oh crap my boots are stuck together, how is this happening"
Laura : "That's how she fell off the wall" .. lol.
