The claw thing looks masculine, and I thought it might be a brass cap on it. The other stuff on it, looks like it might have been added later. What are your thoughts?

Love the plastic box. I have sold some similar for $25 to $35, but yours is nicer.

Less 'POLISHED', more matte, not dull, just flat in color. Not as "GOLD" in color. Patina.

You are so lucky that you get year around yard sales. It's cold here in Utah.

Got me all excited when you showed that jewelry jar for 12.99 when is the unjaring lol I want to bask in your exciting treasure finding since I cannot do it myself just yet waiting for the prices to come back down to reality in my area and I'm noticing since barely anyone buying the jars because of the spike they are starting to mark them down a bit so maybe there is still hope for me but mean while…. do show us yours 😻❤️❤️❤️

Sometimes, fake jewelry may be stamped gold, but doesn't mean it is.. On the other hand, for the most part, gold WILL be stamped. So, unless, it's broken (like the clasp has been replaced or something), if you think it's gold, but there is no mark, it's probably not because the National Gold and Silver Marking Act enacted in 1906 requires that it be marked. If I make something in gold, I want to make sure the person knows it's gold anyway, huh? After you handle gold for awhile, you get to where you can feel the weight or the "finish" on the item… just experience.

LOL… your cat at 13:35 mark…. my little, old dog started barking at her! THEN, when you said "get 'em", she heard you and jumped off the bed and headed for the back of the house… My cue to take her walking, I guess! Funny, she barks at OUR cats too, but usually doesn't go after them.

My husband got a broken Waterman pen at a Swapmeet for a dollar. He sent it back to Waterman asking how much to fix it and they sent him a new pen. Free. Yay! Worth over $150 but he is keeping it.

Clasps on bracelets can be magnetic because there is a spring inside that is magnetic. Doesn't mean that the metal on the clasp is not gold.

Where do you sell your cuff links? on eBay or Etsy? Can you update us on the cufflinks and tie tacks in the jar?
