    Bit confusing, the average 2p is supposed to weigh 7.12g not 3g, although doing this DID actually work for me, mine shows 7.12g and not 3g like on the video..

    that's not calibration.that's simply tareing. it does nothing to fix a scale that shows more than 0.00 on start up.

    That is not how you calibrate. You have to put it in calibration mode and put a known mass on it. The manual will tell you the weight of the mass that you have to put. Mine is 500 g.
